Tamarack Resort Municipal Association has petitioned the courts to allow them the opportunity to run the ski mountain this winter. T.M.A. states that it has the ability to and willingness to run and operate the ski hill using its own revenues and funding with a business plan that proves they could “break even” at the end of the season. This petition has to be approved by the courts, both state and federal, as well as the creditors. This comes at a time when Jean-Pierre Boespflug, the majority owner of Tamarack Resort, is trying to find a buyer before the courts force him and the resort back into a chapter 7 bankruptcy which is scheduled to happen soon if Boespflug is not able to secure a buyer or petition the courts for an extension within the coming weeks.
